Characterizing the transmural (endocardium vs epicardium) dyssynchrony and arrhythmia vulnerability in the human right ventricle outflow tract (RVOT) – Rokhaya Faye

The RVOT region is known to be involved in certain pathological conditions (e.g. Brugada syndrome) and the mechanisms underlying these conditions are still unclear. The experimental approach for this study involve a variety of techniques such as simultaneous optical and electrical mapping of the electrical activity under baseline condition but also under different pharmacological conditions. In addition, omics and immuhistochemistry techniques are used to investigate the molecular and structural remodeling differences within the RVOT region RVOT but also between the RVOT and the rest of the RV
